It’s been wonderful to hear students RAVE about the Data Mining short course – and this was just a glimpse into the full Graduate Certificate of Applied Data Science. It’s not one of the IT Masters suite of courses (it’s run entirely by CSU) but we’re just so excited we wanted to tell you about it.
This brand new Grad Cert teaches you to extract values from high volumes of data, then use it to inform decisions – big and small. It includes:
- Fundamentals of Big Data analytics
- Data mining and visualisation techniques
- Interpreting Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the context of Big Data
- Scientific approaches to data analysis
- Experimental design and analysis
You study 4 subjects (1 core and then your choice of 3 electives) and can come away with a university postgraduate qualification in as little as 8 months.
Australian Citizens are eligible for FEE-HELP and you have until census date (4 weeks) to withdraw with a full refund. Don’t worry if you don’t have an undergraduate degree – CSU will assess your industry experience and certifications as well.
Apply online before 28 February 2020, or if you have any questions esteemed Course Director Sabih Rehman and Sub Dean Jason Howarth are happy to help.
